A Recovery Coach is a personal guide and counselor who helps people pursuing or already recovering from an addiction to alcohol or other substances by promoting recovery and removing barriers and obstacles.

Although we commonly use the term “Recovery Coach,” there are a variety of other terms for this highly sought-after role. What sets a coach apart from other peer roles is they remain focused on helping people who are suffering from an addiction to alcohol or other substances.
